My current ideas include to involve somewhere behind-the-scenes style footage of the shooting of the shooting of a fictional music video, and to splice this with shots of the fictional music video itself. Basically, I would like my music video to have a music video inside it - a music video within a music video.
After reading the lyrics of the song (several times over as to derive a non-James-Bond reference), I have found that the emotions behind the lyrics and the tune are contrasting. While in my personal opinion, the music itself is fairly grand, cinematic and somewhat optimistic while the lyrics are condemning and dark.
A mix of both these emotions will be spliced into the video - how, I am not yet sure.
